The New Online World of Inventa

Inventa, Canada’s largest experiential marketing agency, knows all about creating memorable brand interactions for heavy hitters such as Coke, Samsung, Nintendo, Kellogg’s and others. Whether it’s event marketing, sponsorship activation, product launches, on-pack promotions or ambient media, Inventa has been developing imaginative ways for consumers to ‘experience’ a brand for over 13 years.
We figured if Inventa’s ‘experiential’ approach was a hit with consumers – why not adapt it for website visitors? Done right, we could give Inventa what they give their clients – an engaging, interactive, and authentic brand experience for their target audience.
Inspiration came from the firm’s URL www.inventaworld.com. We loved the idea of Inventa World, but the concept wasn’t well developed on their current site. So, we set out to change that, creating a whimsical, one-of-kind online world that brings the Inventa brand to life.
Visually, the style is reminiscent of collage. Layered images create an intriguing new landscape where the conventions of scale cease to exist. The skyline is a hybrid of Vancouver and Toronto landmarks, a nod to the two cities where Inventa has offices. Content is creatively delivered via many of the same methods Inventa uses for its clients – billboards, big screens, airplanes, cell phones, sides of buildings, and product packaging.
Animated elements give the site energy…and a sense of fun. Whether it’s the kite flying behind the CN Tower, the skateboarder on the roof-top half-pipe, the hot air balloon, or the roving promotional searchlight, every animation connects with what Inventa does and engages site visitors, especially the animations triggered by user roll-overs.
Features like video interviews, a custom “Inventa Type Quiz” and case studies with slideshows give potential clients and employees the opportunity to get to know Inventa in ways that aren’t static or typical. Ultimately, we wanted the site itself to be an experience, providing visitors with a sense of the imaginative campaigns Inventa is known for.
Launched today, the new site has already won over the Inventa team. “Brilliant! What your team has created absolutely captures who we are in a way we never even hoped for.” We couldn’t ask for a better response than that!
