A collection of impressive interactive installations.
The Cloud
A digital sculpture by Troika for the entrance of British Airways Heathrow Terminal 5. The surface is covered with 4638 flip-dots that can be individually addressed by a computer to animate the entire skin of the sculpture.
Shiny Balls Mirror
An artwork made by Daniel Rozin
This mechanical mirror is made of 921 hexagonal black-anodized aluminum tube extrusions, 921 chrome-plated plastic balls, 819 motors, control electronics, video camera, and a computer. Any person standing in front of this piece is instantly reflected on its surface. The mechanical mirrors produce a soothing sound as the viewer interacts with them.
FLAIR
Flair facade is a modular system by the Berlin-based studio WHITEvoid to create a dynamic hull for facades or any building or wall surface. Acting like a living skin, it allows a building to express, communicate, and interact with its environment.
